Danny Green scores gaming winning 3 over Kobe Bryant

Last night, Danny Green of the San Antonio Spurs scored a three pointer against the Lakers in the 4th quarter that would turn out to be the game winning shot. The significance of this is that Danny Green along with myself is a St. Mary’s High School alumni. The fact that he is even playing in the NBA is incredible in itself but he was playing against the Lakers AND guarding Kobe Bryant! Now That’s even crazier if you ask me. Even though I’m a Lakers fan and I was upset about the loss, I’m still very proud to see Danny Green score the game winning basket. I never spoke to him in high school being that he was an upperclassmen when I was just a little ole freshmen lol but I do remember seeing him in the hallways. Watching Danny Green on national television, playing in the NBA amongst some of the sport’s greatest players is just another example that your dreams are attainable. No goal is unrealistic. So don’t be scared to dream people!
